What Executives Actually Read in Product Reports
Leaders skim for decisions, exceptions, and confidence. Packs that bury those signals get ignored.
Executive product reports fail when they mirror analyst dashboards. Leadership needs fewer series, clearer comparisons, and an explicit ask: approve, delay, invest, or investigate.
Lead with the decision context, then show the two or three metrics that changed, then name the uncertainty. Charts without a decision question are decoration.
Test every page by asking: if the reader has four minutes, can they leave with a stance?
