Executive briefing formats

Our custom guide for turning application analytics into packs leadership can finish—decision-first, exception-aware, and refreshable by your team.

How a brief is built

Each step produces an artifact your analysts can reuse—never a black-box scorecard.

  1. Name the decision

Write the question the meeting must answer: invest, pause, investigate, or continue. Status without a decision stays off the first page.

  2. Select the lean KPI set

Keep only metrics required for that decision. Tie each to a definition, owner, and refresh cadence leadership already accepted.

  3. Frame exceptions

Call out what moved, what was expected, and what is uncertain. Quiet charts without commentary rarely survive an ELT review.

  4. Offer paths

End with options and a recommended path. Briefs that only describe the past force leadership to invent the next step mid-meeting.

  5. Hand off the template

Leave a one-page shell and definition registry so your analysts can refresh the pack without recreating the narrative from scratch.
